The Minnesota Traveling Trophy is a a fun way to have member os the Minnesota American Legion Chapter get out and visit one another. This is a fun event. There are some rules.
As of June 30, 2026
The trophy can be stolen by any ALR chapter in Minnesota. The rules are as follows:
1. Whichever chapter has the trophy must display it prominently in the bar or club room.
2. A chapter stealing the trophy must have 3 ALR back-patch members present on bikes or trikes to steal it.
3. The trophy may be stolen from March 1st to October 31st.
4. The trophy may not be stolen on days when the post is having an ALR event or a ride.
5. If more than 1 group shows up to steal the trophy, the group with the most members present takes it. In the event of a tie, cards will be drawn and the high card wins.
6. When the trophy is taken you must notify Roe Naylor 507-438-5804 or hit the call button on this Facebook group.
7. Once stolen, the trophy is safe for 5 days. Day one is complete 24 hours after the trophy is stolen. Day six is when the trophy is up for grabs.
8. Trophy can only be claimed when the post is open for business.
We feel this will be a fun way for ALR Riders to get out and visit other posts and build new friendships.
